Studio Twenty Seven invited Cloud Stone Studio to collaborate on the design of a series of custom architectural elements for their New York flagship gallery. Working closely with Nacho Polo and Robert Onuska, the project focused on translating the design vision into fully resolved pieces that balanced aesthetics, craftsmanship, and fabrication.

The collaboration included the design development of a concealed library, a hand-carved chestnut entry door with custom hardware, and a custom chair library, with a material library currently in production. Each piece was developed through an iterative process of sketching, prototyping, detailing, and close coordination with artisans in Lebanon to ensure the design intent was faithfully realized. Rather than approaching these elements as standalone objects, they were conceived as part of a unified architectural language. Materiality, proportion, concealed joinery, and tactile experience were carefully considered so that each intervention contributed to the calm and immersive atmosphere of the gallery.
